Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, sign-in or subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The lessons and the whole Bible are inside the app, so everything works without an internet connection.
Where is my progress kept?
Only on your iPhone, inside the app. It is left out of iCloud and computer backups, so it won’t move to a new phone, and it is removed if you delete the app.
How do I start over?
Open the About tab and tap Start fresh with a local backup. Your current progress is backed up on the phone before it is cleared.
How do I change the language?
Open the About tab and choose English, Polski or Українська under Language. The setting changes both the interface and the lessons.
Why is some scripture in English when I chose Polish or Ukrainian?
BibleHearth has its own Polish and Ukrainian translations of the chapters used in the lessons. Other chapters are not translated yet, so they are shown in English. Where a translation is shown, the English text is available for comparison.
Which Bible translation does it use?
The English text is the World English Bible, Protestant Edition, which is in the public domain (eBible.org). BibleHearth’s Polish and Ukrainian translations are made from that English text. They are not the World English Bible and are not translated from Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek. No endorsement by eBible.org is implied.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
What do you do with my data?
Nothing, because the app doesn’t send us any. See the BibleHearth privacy policy.
